My First Post

I am now officially part of the Blogging world. I have been told over and over again by many friends that I need to start a blog. I guess I am a little slow, or maybe I just thought I was too boring to do a blog. Well here I am posting for the 1st time. It has been an Amazing 9 years and I will be recapping some of the things that have taken place and also sharing new experiences with everyone.

Elliot and I were married in December of 1999. We bought our first home in East Mesa that following September. Shortly after buying our first home, we found out we were pregnant with our first child. June 6, 2001 Jason Douglas was born. In October of 2002 we had the opportunity to move to Colorado Springs, so Elliot could work for Hewlett Packard. While we were there we found out we were expecting our second child. In the meantime, we still owned our home in Mesa and could not sell or rent it out. After a lot of praying, we decided it would be best to move back to Mesa and into our old home. So, Elliot quit his job at HP and became a Loan Officer. July 3rd 2003 we were blessed to have our second child Alexis Raye. Elliot continued doing loan's for quite a while. When the housing market started to boom in 2005, we jumped on that wagon and sold our home in Mesa and signed on a home in Maricopa, AZ. We rented a home in Gilbert while we waited and waited for our new home to be built. While we were living in Gilbert, I gave birth to our 3rd child, Ellie Marie on October 27, 2005. We were able to move into our new home in Maricopa in February of 2006. Maricopa is now where we reside and we love it here. Our fourth and Final child Harrison Lee, was born on August 21st of 2007. We feel so blessed and feel like our family is complete.

Elliot and I both keep busy with our callings. I am blessed to be the Laurel Adviser and Elliot is the Executive Secretary. Elliot is currently working for Cox Communications and I stay at home with our four children and care for 2 other children every day. Life is pretty crazy usually, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
